Dear Devin and the Fans,
When Devin forgot to bring the costume I remember that there was
a mixed reaction among the crew. For Justin it was an opportunity
to laugh at both the situation and at Devin himself. Adam's take
on it was a little less humorous but still understanding. His main
concern was not what had happened, but how we could change the setting
to finish the shoot on this, the last day of production. I (Jared)
perhaps took it the hardest of all. I not only saught to dwell on
the sheer ignorance of the act of forgetfullness, but also to use
this particular incident as an example of Devin's overall incompetence.
At that moment I felt anger, betrayal, and quite frankly I felt
better than Devin. As I recal, his forgetting to bring the costume
was a real blow to our morale and our oppinion of him, the kid of
the group so to speak (for he is the junior member).
As I recall I summed up his stupidity with the following statement, "Devin, you
only had one job: to bring the costume. And you can't even do that
right!" Thankfully, the combined wisdom and experience of the REAL
Zone 5 pictures production team (Adam, Justin, and Jared) were able
to shoostring together the movie into a flawless classic. No help
from Devin of course, who after skrewing up to the highest degree
with his forgetfullness, coldn't even overcome my criticism, get
in a good mood, and be productive. As I recal, he even attacked
me later that day when I made an anatomically corect model of him.
While the incident all effected us in different ways, the following
can still be said: if there was one common thought shared among the
group it was that we ALL believed Devin skrewed up and that he was
really kinda stupid. We ALL lost a a lot of respect for him that
day!
Sincerely,
Jared "shizer eating grin" Starr
